Metamorphosis of Chicago's Architecture from Pre-Post Industrial Revolution

Chicago is thriving city filled with food, entertainment, and some of the world's best buildings; however, it wasn't always this way. Chicago became the city it is today through a very crucial point in time; a time known as the industrial revolution. The industrial revolution gave Chicago the push it needed to develop buildings of innovation and a character than gives Chicago a world class name. Through the development of products such as steel and glass, Chicago was able to transform into a thriving city through its architecture. In the words of Frank Lloyd Wright, "Eventually, I think Chicago will be the most beautiful great city left in the world." Wright has faith that Chicago will last and has much motive behind it.
